I bought a dump permit last weekend, and since then I have been so damn occupied with destroying old couch pieces, mattresses and other random crap to drop off at the dump I have had little free time to myself on the weekends.

Fortunately, next weekend is the last weekend for the dump dropoffs. Unfortunately, it means I will have to spend the next couple days destroying some more mattresses and other crap so it'll fit in my blazer so I can make the last couple drop offs in time. With a 3 hour dump window it only gives you enough time to load your crap, drop it off and repeat until time runs out.

Here are some possible scenarios that could take place as the year progresses.

Bush will insist upon Iran's nuclear plans, furnish proof of their 'evil plans', insist on Iran's involvement with terrorism and start a war with Iran near the end of his presidential term.

With a war booming and the possibility of Iran literally attacking US on its own soil and with the war having the potential to go nuclear, gas prices will jump exponentially and other countries now severely burdened by oil prices, others may join with Iran and a potential WW3 could start.

A war with Iran could also be a potential cover up just to have a nuclear factory 'explode' or a nuke could be dropped on Iran. Because Iran has large reserves of oil under their soil the oil could be potentially contaminated with radiation and all the massive reserves under their land could now be unusable thus creating a world wide oil based recession.

All of this is also a potential way for Bush to pass some new bill to keep him in office past his two terms because of the world crisis he has caused. Thus our president becomes a war mongering dictator.

If this does not happen and McCain becomes president, he will try to pick up this exact same course minus the dictator part.

Of course, Bush could always start up a war with Iran or set things in motion for it to take place, leave office and screw the next president into a position of having to declare war.

Marc Dumais, commander of Canada Command, signed a Civil Assistance Plan that allows the military from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a civil emergency. The signing took place at U.S. Army North headquarters, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Feb. 14, 2008.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas � U.S. Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, and Canadian Air Force Lt.-Gen. Marc Dumais, commander of Canada Command, have signed a Civil Assistance Plan that allows the military from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a civil emergency.
�This document is a unique, bilateral military plan to align our respective national military plans to respond quickly to the other nation's requests for military support of civil authorities,� Renuart said. �Unity of effort during bilateral support for civil support operations such as floods, forest fires, hurricanes, earthquakes and effects of a terrorist attack, in order to save lives, prevent human suffering and mitigate damage to property, is of the highest importance, and we need to be able to have forces that are flexible and adaptive to support rapid decision-making in a collaborative environment.�
�The signing of this plan is an important symbol of the already strong working relationship between Canada Command and U.S. Northern Command,� Dumais said. �Our commands were created by our respective governments to respond to the defense and security challenges of the twenty-first century, and we both realize that these and other challenges are best met through cooperation between friends.�
The plan recognizes the role of each nation's lead federal agency for emergency preparedness, which in the United States is the Department of Homeland Security and in Canada is Public Safety Canada. The plan facilitates the military-to-military support of civil authorities once government authorities have agreed on an appropriate response.
U.S. Northern Command was established on Oct. 1, 2002, to anticipate and conduct homeland defense and civil support operations within the assigned area of responsibility to defend, protect, and secure the United States and its interests.
Similarly, Canada Command was established on Feb. 1, 2006, to focus on domestic operations and to offer a single point of contact for all domestic and continental defense and security partners.
The two domestic commands established strong bilateral ties well before the signing of the Civil Assistance Plan. The two commanders and their staffs meet regularly, collaborate on contingency planning and participate in related annual exercises.

The Toxic Effects of Fluoride

The devastating, toxic effects of fluoride are well documented by mainstream organizations. The Journal of the American Medical Association (1990-1992) has reported a greater incidence of hip fractures in fluoridated areas in the U.S. and Britain. TheNew England Journal of Medicine (1990) reported that fluoride treatment of osteoporosis patients resulted in higher hip fracture rates. The governmental National Institute of Environmental and Health Sciences (1990) has shown that fluoride causes cancer. Former promoters of fluoridation have since found that fluoridation does not reduce tooth decay (1987-1988). Scientist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (1989-1993) have come out against fluoridation because they have confirmed that it does not reduce tooth decay and that there is clear evidence that fluoride causes cancer. The American Chemical Society published a 17-page cover story (1988) questioning the safety and effectiveness of fluoridation. In a number of small villages in Sicily, Turkey and India there is naturally occurring fluoride in the water ranging from 0.7 to 5.4 ppm. Here the villagers and their livestock are chronically ill, while neighboring villages with no fluoride have no such illnesses. Premature aging is the overall effect. Children have brown decaying teeth; young adults often have none. Young men are bent over and crippled with pain in their joints and hips. Their skin is wrinkled and they look 60 at age 30 to 40. There is premature hardening of the arteries, loss of appetite & sex drive by age 30. The rate of stillborn miscarriages by 4 months is extremely high.
In the U.S. a disease of brown decaying teeth has been known since 1916. In 1931 it was identified as "dental fluorosis". Bone disorders (skeletal fluorosis, osteoporosis and arthritic pains) from fluoride in the water have been reported in the U.S. In Bartlett, TX (1943-1953) where the water had 8ppm fluoride, the death rate was 3 times higher than in neighboring Cameron, TX with 0.4 ppm fluoride. The U.S. Center for Disease Control and The Safe Water Foundation estimate 30,000 to 50,000 excess deaths each year in areas where there is 1 ppm fluoride in the drinking water, the normal added amount.
Fluoride IS a poison! The 1984 issue of Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products lists fluoride as more poisonous than lead and just slightly less poisonous than arsenic. It has been used as a pesticide for mice, rats and other small pests. A 10# infant could be killed by 1/100 of an ounce and a 100# adult could be killed by 1/10 of an ounce of fluoride. The Akron Regional Poison Center indicates that a 7 ounce tube of toothpaste contains 199 mg. of fluoride, more than enough to kill a 25# child. Even Procter & Gamble, the maker of Crest, acknowledges that this is true "theoretically, at least." There are documented deaths of infants and children caused by "normal dosage" of fluoride tablets or treatments.
The acceleration of the aging process by fluoride occurs at the bio-chemical level by means of:

enzyme inhibition;
collagen breakdown;
genetic damage; and/or
disruption of the immune system per se.

Fluoride damages enzymes which results in a wide range of chronic diseases. Fluoride as low as 1 ppm causes breakdown of collagen, the most abundant of the body's protein at 30%. It also leads to irregular formation of collagen which serves as a major structural component of skin, ligaments, tendons, muscles, cartilage, bones and teeth. The United States Pharmacopoeia lists some of the side effects from drinking 1 to 2 pints daily of municipally fluoridated water. The list includes: nausea, bloody vomit, faintness, stomach cramps, tremors, constipation, aching bones, stiffness, skin rash, weight loss, and brown or black discoloration of the teeth. The 1991 Physicians' Desk Reference lists some of the same side effects from administered doses of fluoride.
Fluoride interacts with the bonds which maintain the normal shape of proteins. With distorted protein, the immune system attacks it's own protein, the body's own tissue. Fluoride (at 1 ppm) in drinking water:

damages the immune system by inhibiting the migration rate of white blood cells to infected areas;
interferes with phagocytosis (the destruction of bacteria and other foreign agents by white blood cells); and
induces the release of superoxide free radicals in resting white blood cells.

This fluoride-induced interference leads to an increased and more prolonged exposure of the body to foreign materials and leads to the release of free radicals which damage the body and leads to a further acceleration of the aging process. Proctor and Gamble studies which they published in Mutation Research, 1989, showed that fluoride at less than 1 ppm caused genetic damage in Chinese hamsters. Many studies make it clear that fluoride causes genetic damage. The mechanism cannot be exactly pinpointed because fluoride interferes with a number of physiological processes. Most evidence indicates that it acts on the DNA Repair Enzyme System. It may also interfere with DNA synthesis or act directly on the DNA. In any case, damaged DNA and a slowed down DNA Repair Enzyme System lead to a snowballing cycle of aging > damage > aging > damage, etc. If the unrepaired DNA damage occurs in a cell which gives rise to a sperm or egg cell, the damage will be replicated in every cell of the offspring's body and will lead to a birth defect. Unrepaired damage of a segment of DNA responsible for control of cell growth can lead to tumors and/or cancer.
In the 1930s, H. Trendly Dean of the U.S. Public Health Service conducted extensive surveys which showed that as fluoride levels in the water increased, so did the incidence of dental fluorosis. Then Dr. Gerald Cox, on the staff of the Mellon Institute (the Mellons owned ALCOA Aluminum, a fluoride-polluting industry), claimed that if some fluoride was bad for teeth, a smaller amount was good and should be added to the water. In the late 1930s, Dean started publishing purposely skewed data to show that fluoride caused reduction in tooth decay. The USPHS was under the jurisdiction of Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon, founder of ALCOA. Dr. Cox convinced a Wisconsin dentist, J. J. Frisch, to promote the addition of fluoride to the water supply. This was the beginning of the infiltration into the ADA & the AMA all to find an outlet for the by-product fluoride from the phosphate fertilizer and the aluminum industries. The rest of the conspiracy is too long and involved to present here, but you are referred to the book which is the basis of this report.

I hate ads. But I also hate being strapped for cash and having an outstanding credit card debt because of continuous monthly charges. Of course I love having my websites, but at the time of the last server move we had hosting revenue coming in. So yeah, gotta supplement those bills somehow. At least we don't have to look at the ads while we're logged in. At least the majority of us.

Something I'm tired of getting, that's for sure. I wouldn't mid if more of it was something useful or good, but the mainstay of it here as of late has been shit, shit, SHIT. The local college I am trying to get into is sitting on papers for my acceptance, and if they continue to sit, I won't be able to register for them in time. If that happens, I'll be looking at deploying in mid May. Hoorah.-_-;
This is all also in the wake of learning my Uncle has inoperable cancer, and may be gone by the end of the week; I, of course, won't be able to be there for Mom or at the funeral, because I can't miss this Drill Weekend because we have several higher ups visiting, and I'm the only 35F to have the new training, and will be reperesenting my entire platoon. GOD would I kill for some good news...
