DDR is a dancing game....if you look like a fool, you're not doing it right.....don't be bashing a game just because you don't happen to like it.....if you've ever seen a really good DDR dancer play, you'll understand the appeal....there are people that work up routines with current dance moves that still hit the arrows on time....that's why we like it and that's what we work towards...some, like me, are to clumsy to do that extreme, but i do enjoy beating a tough song...plus, it's great cardio-vascular exercise....

I have a friend from college that's a Japanese exchange student, and let me tell you, she took me to floor and back on it. She did the non-stop mode and got a perfect score. I almost did one of those anime face-faultsX'D

Hell yeah Blitz! I love that song, and it's really fun to dance too, I got an A on it in Heavy mode last week. Should have heard me screaming and jumping up and down lol. Paranoia is a really good song too, I also like "A", it's just got an awsome flow that's a challenge. Also, if you want to just have fun, try out the edit mode. :happy:

i have yet to beat Paranoia on easy....it's so sad....i can do Hystaria on trick, but there's one section in the middle of Paranoia that i just can't get.....o.O.....

Paranoia is really hard in the middle, I can only do that on Light still. I love Heaven by DJ Sammy, that's one of my fav. songs on DDR MAX, that and Twilight Zone was pretty fun too. I can't wait to get the newest one that came out like right after Extreme, it looks really promising.:happy:

It's a very fun game, you should actually try playing it and actually make up a routine and it gets really fun.

Plus there's a system for playing it. You have to feel the rythem of the song, if you're just trying to hit the arrows, then yeah you'll suck at it, but if you get the rythem and move with it, it's a lot easier. I find that fast songs are much easier than slow songs.

lol yeah like on ZZ Unlimited, man I basically gave up half way through. Songs like There You'll Be, A, and Drop the Bomb are the one's I like.

No it's not for strippers, thats what they call it when you play DDR with a controller instead of dancing. I play that way sometimes...but I don't really like too. It's just not challenging when you play it that way.

I respect your opion on this subject though, my own boyfriend laughs at me for playing it *only because he can't* but I think it would be a good idea to let this one go. If your only purpose of posting this thread was to bash the game, then you had no business posting it in the first place. All I've seen you do is bash the game and people who play it. The only reason I'm keeping this topic open is that there are people who actually do want to talk about it and enjoy doing so. If you don't like the game, no one is forcing you to. We all know a lot of people don't like DDR or think it's stupid or whatever. That doesn't bother us. Now, if you started this topic with an honest desire to learn about the game, that's one thing. But I have not seen one positive post from you in this topic. In fact, most of your posts seem to have been designed to start arguments instead of simply trying to learn about something. One of my jobs is to stop flame wars before they get started, and that's what I'm doing.



And no, I don't think I'm being too harsh. I'm simply trying to head off a bad argument before it gets started. That's all. I'm not trying to censor anyone or belittle anyone. I just want to keep this topic from turning into a flame war. Believe me, you've not seen me be harsh before. Most people here haven't.
