I'd also consider the fact that in the originals he didn't have to many enemies that could fight him as a Jedi. Also, he's not a full human (robotics ects.) in the orignals so its not like he has youth.

Vader had no need to display his great power because who was there to stand up to him? He just choked people that annoyed him. Luke wasn't really a jedi, he toyed with him until ROTJ. The man took out the emperor himself, and could have done so at any time, He is the most powerful being in the universe. And also an old fart. What was left of him was Human.

How dare you insult Darth Vader in such a way 0-o.

jedi lightning is for tourtore, he was beyond this.. vader could do death moves. the only reason luke didn't die was because vader didn't want to kill him. as for any other battle, there was no one with enough power to challenge vader. he never broke a sweat against obi-wan. in fact, i don't think he even had to bend his knees, just stand there and swat with his lightsaber. :p (i need to re-watch the movies. vader is the sh*t. X'D)

OMG I love that song ILMAO.....

Vader ain't shit, his heads cut up and split. He's slower than the first Pentium chip! *shit* Dark Side, we're the ones that are fucking you up! Rebels, you know we'll fucking win cause we'll fight to the end!

Anyway...yeah I don't know. In a way...Qui-Gon was right...Vader did bring balance to the force...but he also kinda threw it out of sync in the first place. I always thought that the Jedi mistook Ani for Luke, but that's not right either....Uh Oh....I think Lucus has a plot hole on his hands!

No without vader there would be no luke. Vader by far surpasses luke in power, dont forget that. Padme gave birth to his 2 children, Luke and Leia who are born with very high potiential with the force. Leia becomes somewhat of a jedi herself later down the line. The twins that came from vader eventually balanced out the force. So Vader truely brought balance to the force, it just wasnt in the way people thought.

Its funny how Lucas twisted the story of christ in all of this. Anikan was concieved from a virgin birth as was Jesus. Jesus was expected to come to earth as a king and destroy the romans with an iron fist, bringing justice to the chosen people of isreal. Obviously that is not what happend. Eventually Gods people got their freedom and there own nation as promised. Vader was expected to bring balance to the force by being the most gifted of the Jedi and vanquishing the darkside completely. Again that isnt how it turned out. interesting indeed.

Wow...I never thought about it like that. I knew about the Leila thing...but everything else is very interesting.
