Need a new monitor

Our monitor for our main computer died today. -_- So I hooked up our old 21 inch monitor that likes to randomly zap and electrocute us. I'd like a widescreen lcd, but I want good color and resolution like a good quality crt monitor, but I don't know whats good. Can anyone recommend a good monitor? Probably around $200 or less?

Acer is a good brand look into those...farily priced...my 19 inch widescreen has never gave me a problem

Awwwwww~ poor compy ... she's without a rack. Yeah, Acer's pretty solid in terms of durability in the flat screen market.

Thanks for the heads up guys, I think I'm going to wait until this monitor starts zapping the hell out of me again before I buy something new. I wonder if newegg has high shipping rates for a monitor. *has to look*
