I've posted the first two chapters of the Heart of the Dragon, you know, the story we've been writing. Kelene and I edited them one last time before I posted them. We're going to try and post two chapters each month until we're caught up to the latest threads.

Do you like the idea of the three stories written in one book with each chapter switching back and forth between the stories? Give it a few months and I'll ask again.

Here's the front page of the Heart of the Dragon book.
Heart of the Dragon (http://inkjar.net/Stories/Fantasy/Heart_of_the_Dragon/)
Written by Andrew and Amanda Hinkle, HKofsesshoumaru, and Wolflord; Based on the campaign designed by Andrew Hinkle; Edited by Andrew and Amanda Hinkle
This is an interactive story written by the authors on http://ancientclan.com. A better description will be added later.
Foreword (http://inkjar.net/Stories/Fantasy/Heart_of_the_Dragon/Foreword)
This chapter is intentionally left sparse. I will finish this chapter once the book is finished.
Until then, many thanks to HKofsesshoumaru, Wolflord, my wife Amanda, and our audience at http://www.ancientclan.com (http://www.ancientclan.com/). This interactive story would never have been written without their diligence.
Chapter 1: Rebirth of Orpheus - Initiation (http://inkjar.net/Stories/Fantasy/Heart_of_the_Dragon/Chapter_1_Rebirth_of_Orpheus_Initiation)
"Strike now!" Jelar screamed through the pain as a second goblin slashed his shortsword across Jelar's chainshirt. Merlais regained his composure immediately and thrust his longsword through the goblin's mold-green skin, piercing his heart.
Jelar whipped his shortspear back to slam his attacker across the side of the head. The goblin fell to the ground, blood pouring from his exposed ear.
"You're a true Bluecloak now."
Chapter 2: Vengeance of the Red Falcon – Horseman (http://inkjar.net/Stories/Fantasy/Heart_of_the_Dragon/Chapter_2_Vengeance_of_the_Red_Falcon_Horseman)
"Steward. Bring me some water." The elderly man's voice struck upon Thirston's already frayed nerves. He was a fresh recruit to the Bluecloaks and was on his first mission that hadn't been anything like he had imagined. He was saddle sore from the march over the countryside and ached all over. Though their destination was only a day and a half away at a leisurely ride, Thirston now feared that his first mission might be his last.

Here's the next two chapters. HK and Wolflord, once I post the stories on my site I have no problem with you guys posting links from my site to the stories on creative writing sites and such. Just give credit where credit is due and post links in the Roleplaying thread as to where the stories are posted.
Chapter 3: A Coldspray in Hell – Salty Tongues (http://inkjar.net/Stories/Fantasy/Heart_of_the_Dragon/Chapter_3_A_Coldspray_in_Hell_Salty_Tongues)
"Then I'd have ye rub down me mast, and" Regil was slapped across the face. The bar wench stormed away, her feet stomping heavily across the wooden floors of the bar aptly named the Three-legged Stool. All of the sailors nearby laughed heartily at their captain.
"Aww, cap'n. Ye los' anot'er pr'ty 'un." His slack-jawed goblin cook, Carl Maaters, groaned. "Yer salte tong' be drivin' 'em aw'y." Several of veteran sailors elbowed the new recruits in anticipation of the captain's response.
Captain Regil Walker massaged his cheek gingerly and said with a straight face. "I only told the lovely lass what her duties would be upon the Coldspray." The sailors chuckled uncontrollably. Ale splashed the nearby tables as they swayed their mugs in excitement.
Chapter 4: Rebirth of Orpheus – Death of a Dragon (http://inkjar.net/Stories/Fantasy/Heart_of_the_Dragon/Chapter_4_Rebirth_of_Orpheus_Death_of_a_Dragon)
"Aramil!" A familiar voice cut through the forest air. Tattered and bloody, a ranger appeared from the brush. He was gulping for air as he came in sight of the elf. "We were ambushed." he said breathlessly. "Orpheus and his followers..."
Aramil winced as he got up onto his feet. "We have no time, we must hurry." He said, making his way back to the battlefield.
