Wow
That is sad. I hope it wasn't suicide. He was a great actor, and I loved his accent.

I wish I were sad... or am I not ever going to be?... The Guy ODs on drugs & lived a life I could only dream about... Seriously I'm confused to why someone like that would OD...

Unless you're unable to read the dosage directions on a bottle of pills there is no such thing as accidental overdose. Most life insurance policies don't cover suicide which is why there is an investigation going on.

From what I heard, Batman 3 had already wrapped and at the time of his death, and Health was in the UK filming another movie. In a recent interview, he also spoke about his role as the Joker as being very fun and quite a challenge, though he complained he had trouble sleeping because of it.
His family spoke in this article.

I am not so sure I believe the whole accidental death thing. You hear about people mixing drugs, and/or mixing drugs and booze and then dying because of it. This dosn't sound like accidental, sounds like suicide with no note (or maybe they havn't found the note yet).

HK, both articles are dated November 16, 2007. I'm not sure I've seen an article about a possible delay, but that's too early for the studios to come out with.

I'm talking about a possible 3rd one with the joker in it not the second one thats coming out. Assuming the joker survives in the second one who would play the 3rd movie? Heath is dead....so I guess, if they haven't already, there going to have to either kill or jail the joker in the second movie.

I totally agree, but I also agree with the statement as to why would he commit suicide, he had a life most people dreamed of and a family, not to mention that he wasn't without work. It doesn't make sense really as to why he would kill himself.
I feel sorry for his family though.

Depression doesn't always show on the outside. It is a serious and life threatening medical condition, your own brain is your worst enemy.

Even if it isn't depression, ours brains will always be our own worst enemy.
