Christina Ricci to Play Heroine Trixie in Speed Racer Movie

Ricci, joins Emile Hirsch (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=64482) (Speed), John Goodman (Pops), Susan Sarandon (Mom) in this live-action adaptation of a television series (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=776) that itself was an adaptation of the Mach GoGoGo (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/manga.php?id=7650) anime series. Warner Bros. reaffirmed the May 9, 2008 release date.


What a cast. X'D its a shame they couldn't get Johnny Depp to play Speed tho. :p
