So Thriller Park is a massive ship thats practically its own small island.. Which makes me wonder.. does it emit that massive fog bank all around it wherever it travels? or is that fog bank just there in that realm of the sea?

I think it makes that fog bank itself as a defense mechanism. Remember that floating barrel/trap the strawhat pirates opened up? It launched a huge flare or something into the air. By seeing that, Moria's crew could swing thriller park towards them and Strawhat's crew would just assume they were sailing into a thick fog instead of a trap. And for all those reputed ships that were lost or stuck in the fog bank.. they could have all been disabled and just floating around in water displacement spirals caused by Thriller Park's movement. O_o

What do you think? Maybe I'm over thinking it and they're all stuck in some bermuda triangle area in the grand line? :p

Well, it's the size of an island and all islands in the Grand line have their own weather. The fog probably goes w/ the island. It's defensive ie it hides them from the Marines or whoever. Offensive to draw in new test subjects for doc wack nut :p
I would guess he stays in that area of the Grand Line laying low and nabbing passing ships. The infamy of that area works to his advantage.

Do you think that Professor Hogback has some sort of DF power to create zombies? Like maybe he makes fucked up zombie bodies and then transfers a person's soul to it? If that penguin is Sanji, obviously Sanji doesn't have memories of his real identity, but his core beliefs are still there? (like not hitting a woman?)

Maybe when Hogback dies everyone gets turned back to normal?

I bet Sanji and Zoro won't have a problem doing it.. because whatever zombie bodies were made for their shadows won't be as strong as them. btw, did Zoro ever have his shadow stolen? O_o maybe that zombie swordsman that attacked usopp, nami and chopper was brookes? and zoro is just lost somewhere? X'D

and what the hell was that demon/satan moria is putting luffy's shadow into!? its massive size puts even the elbaf giants to shame. O_O maybe theres some island in the grand line called hell where demons roam!? holy shit..

Last night I said "Damn, I've been waiting for the next episode to come out, what happened to ACE! *mumblegrumble* where is the manga on Chii's Boob ... * ... so I found it and it turned out to be the exact same place in the story where the series is at X'D. Picked the remaining chapters online, woke up at 4 this morning by accident, and read em all till 472. Thriller Bark's full-on amazingness, Zoro vs that Samurai Swordsman was EPIC! Oz is badass, Usopp is uber brave, Sanji's on fire haha. I haven't read OP manga before, but it was interesting to imagine them in my head in their own voices ^_^.

I swear! But that was a brave fight, reminded me of Nami's brave fight against her CP9 opposite Kalifa and how she was able to beat a member of the CP9! Thriller Bark it seems is the World's Largest Ship, and what I like about the arc so far is that there's no filler, they got into it wham bam dash fight slide kick punch X'D. The recently released chapter which is yet to be translated has Kuma showing off 'some' ability to Nami and Perona, I'm more interested in why he's come or maybe to deliver a message about Luffy or Ace's incident or god knows what!

it looks like Kuma has a teleport ability. If thats the case he could be the most powerful devil fruit user. he could teleport people a mile in the air and let them fall to death or teleport a df user right into the ocean. O_O

I have a feeling what zoro said is what is going to happen. they're going to have to take out oz just to free luffy so he can continue the fight.

btw, what if the ship didn't drift off, what if kuma teleported the entire damn thing into west blue? O_O

But, that ability wouldn't work against Blackbeard, because Kuma would have to touch him (I'm only speculating 'touch' is required for Kuma's teleporting ability from what he did with Perona), so he's bloody strong but not the strongest o_0! Makes me wonder, in comparison, the weirder the abilities get, the tougher a path it is for Luffy. Moria so far isn't doing any of the fighting except for making his own shadow fight Luffy, now we still don't know what'll happen when he gets pissed off! I've watched Luffy's overall battle with Lucci over 50 times already (and counting -_-)... like a maniac X'D, so awesome and epic. Also makes me wonder, why Luffy hasn't become serious, and done a Gear Second? *hits Luffy in the head* BAKA, if you don't get your shadow back before dawn, you know what'll happen to ya?!!?!?! 474 is out, but RAW and a place has cheesy translations for it. It basically explains Blackbeard's intentions. By handing over Ace to the Government, he's now a Shichibukai. On a side non relating note, I think Ace's going to land up going to Impel Doom, and then they'll show Luffy going there to save his brother (super future or next arc) and there's also the implication of Whitebeard losing his First in command and Teach, former strengths in his command. Implications? Who knows, but Shanks and he might go to war. Some people have up to 477 on RAW o_0, those lucky bastards.

Usually every Friday, sometimes Saturday if someone is running late. :p I think shonen jumps come out on thursdays or something in japan and theres a group of people that scan all the pages, post them online and then its rush to see which scanlating group can get it done the fastest and with best quality.. honestly, the franky house translation they used for 474 sucked. as if chopper would say "ZOMG" -_-; eh, at least is was readable.

btw, good observation about Kuma. Maybe there is a touch restriction, and if that was the case, he wouldn't be able to do shit against blackbeard. O_O but there must be some other issue with his power if Moria could just blow off the guy's comment saying "yeah, I know about your power* and basically waves him off with a sideways look. I wonder if someone like Shanks could negate a DF ability like that by increasing his 'spirit' output. :look:

At some point Luffy would wanna venture out to the New World and it also depends on where Impel Doom is, where most probably Ace's held captive. Right now he's in a jam though, a TIGHT jam fighting Moria, and I hope it doesn't come to a point where they have to battle 2 Shichibukai!

On a side note, I'm still disappointed in Robin ... since the time she's been with Crocodile I haven't seen her bloom or given a chance to by Oda ... she's like a monster waiting to be used. Her talent in battle, like what she just did to Moria, can be used a LOT, plus her other techniques ...

There's less background story on anything, and it's just battle battle fight mode. In a way it's cool.

WTHell?! I just read chapters 480-484 ... fighting 2 Shichibukai's was always gonna be badass for the crew, I knew it. Why the hell was Moria so confident that the New World would crush Mugiwara's crew ... now that's gonna be interesting, considering the side filler story had the Phoenix Pirates go to the New World, and they're not too strong now are they. Granted they came outta it quick, it still gives some hope. Kuma repels, Blackbeard absorbs ... interesting!

The Zoro Shichibukai fight was awesome! Was so scared ... Sanji-kun to the rescue! Oh, and did you guys notice ... Oda hasn't shown Robin since she got her shadow back AND Brooke too, so maybe they're gonna save the crew/ Luffy during this HUGE air bomb?! NEXT CHAPTER WHERE ARE YOU?!

fuck fuck and OMG. Poor Zoro. Kuma probably left him for dead, Zoro looked mostly dead standin there. Looked dangerously pissed off too.
I'm not suprised he could survive taking Luffy's pain and fatigue cuz Zoro is monstrously strong himself but all at once like that and how much did Luffy's DF abilities affect the pain. It's not as if normal humans can heat up their blood and bodies or blow up their bones.... AND how much of that pain wasn't just Luffy but Nightmare Luffy and all the shadows he had crammed inside of him. >.<
I don't think anybody other then Zoro coulda took that blast. He knew bad shit and probable death was comin down and thats why he took Sanji outta the equation. It wasn't pride or competition, Zoro just didn't think Sanji would live thru Kuma, Zoro had the better chance of survival.
Also, because he lived I think Kuma will feel it his right and obligation to collect Zoro's head after he duels Mihawk again for the win.

Luffy's taken out 2 Shichibukai both DF users. Mugiwara pirates also took out CP9, who we know was investigating Dragon. They escaped Enies Lobby and Grandpa Garp, but not before Garp dropped in long enough to say all kindza shit about Dragon. Kuma mentions Dragon in this last chapter. All this ass kicking has led to throwing the balance of the 3 powers off kilter.It was said that when there is a disruption in the Shichibukai one of the 4 emperors usually makes some kind of a big move. To the WG dismay Shanks and Whitebeard had their meeting and to Shanks dismay the old bastard wouldn't call Ace off. The Ace/Blackbeard fight sparks some huge incident that hasn't caught up to Sunny yet. All they know is the pose has been pointing down since Water 7, fish people like Kokoro are next underwater.
Impel Down is underwater, after the merfolk island. Ace, Bon Clay and Sir Crock are all there. Will Whitebeard or Shanks be content to leave Ace sitting in jail? Would Luffy? Would Ace already have it all figured out how to get out and just need a ship to get away on? Mmmmaybe? Oda keeps droppin Dragon's name like an f bomb, we're gonna see some shit going on with the revolutionaries no doubt. :happy:

I still think Impel Down is either on the merman island or close enough that Luffy and the others can launch an attack on it from there. Much like Water 7 was the only connection they had into Enies Lobby.

And yeah, I bet Tom will be there! Franky will re-unite with him at last! :happy: They might even get some of Tom's relatives from Merman Island to lend support for a full blown raid seeing as Tom was a merman himself. ;)

Errrr if you've watched the new episode you'd be disappointed in the recap fight between Brooke and the Samurai ... in the sense, the manga has the Samurai beat Brooke and thrust his sword into his left eye, but the anime doesn't have that! It's ... mellow!
