me thinks they should make some kind of WiiGlove....you know, like the ones baseball players wear so they don't lose grip of the bat?

or better yet, attach a glove to the Wiimote....XD....but even with that, people will find ways to hurt themselves.....*LOL*.....

You'd think they would have tested those straps. Anyone could of seen this coming (and I find it extremely hilarious)

not a marketing ploy at all...im sure they tested the straps plenty...jsut there are a lot of people that take it too far and hurt themselves and the things around them XD...nintendo already made revisions to teh thickness of the strap and are mailing them out for free now

They had to have tested them to get approved to sell them in the US. I just think they didn't test them with the right people. They were counting on the couch-potato gamers that don't move unless they absolutly have to, not the hyper gamers that have wanted to get in on the action for years. *LOL*
Have you noticed how most of the injuries are related to the sports games? XD

Wii sports is the number 1 killer of electronics :)....that is the free game that comes with the system

I saw a pic on gamespot comparing the straps and the new strap is probably twice the thickness that the original was.
