I dont need all offers...I just want to look for :spam: offers...that is the url...On the last step (mmm...third I guess) after clicking Ok I see nothing...I tried it for a million times! Can anybody tell me whats my problem? And uh...it`s free...and I guess I would be very bad advertiser :)....or maybe anyone knows services like this?
But I read tetimonials about this site...and I like them...So...is there any computer genius??? Hope so...
Heh...internet and I are not a good couple...
Thanks to all..........Jess :)
P.S. Please PM me about your advices...I will try not to read this topic with my problems again... :)

Its coming from everywhere. Only once in a while is it actually the same person coming back over and over, then I ban their ip range and that ones gone for good. Its ridiculous. When I see spam, I ban that user and their ip, then delete the topic. I do that at least 3 or 4 times a week. -_-; I think somewhere out there, there is a market for people who register usernames on multiple forums, sells them to spammers and the spammers send out the bots to log in with the username/pass and they start spamming. Either that or there are idiots out there who think they can earn money by posting spam shit on random forums.
Pretty much all the ips that I check are always within the US, which is why I think there are misc forum bot networks out there. Or its all US spammers. eh, either way, its annoying but easily manageable.

Thinking you should really start making people enter an activation code to activate their account when they sign-up. Will kill the bots and might cut back the spam since most spammers are to lazy to activate the account.

The random letter graphic image activation code is already in place. People are physically registering these names and then probably feeding the usernames/passwords into some bot list. I could set up a "Click here to post" usergroup, so that all new members would have to click to join the usergroup to enable posting. but if people are already registering these accounts, then they could do that just as easily. :\

They should make a option in the Admin CP that doesnt allow n00bs to post any type of link whatsoever. and anything with .com .org .net etc will be turned into some random image until they reach a certain post count.. say 50-60. I think that would be effective in limiting the spam crans.
All these crans do is come and post their garbage 2-3 times and never come back.

Damn the spammers! btw banning ranges isn't a good idea. You may end up banning legit traffic if you just block out a whole isp or state :(

Ah, it's been forever since I registered so I either forgot or really didn't notice it.
Meh, if only there was a way to stop these idiots.
