Like I mentioned in the other one, no one should be able to kill off other people's characters. That could screw things up.

Yeah, its a neat idea, but then since its an role-playing game, you could just say some crazy crap to decimate the other guy and it could turn lame. Or worse, people would do even crazier crap to bring themselves back alive.

Well that would be called god moding and that is the worst thing you could do in an rp. We can't have that...Do you want any specific genre or time period?

Go look in the RP archives for some good ones.

Struggle in Cold Darkness is the best, although I missed it. I want to start a serious fantasy/medieval one again, but there aren't mnay serious ones left. I guess we could try a like a fantasy type one with rogues, paladins, etc.

There was three. The first one that Vyp and DX started, the one that actually got an entire play through. Then there was the one that I suppose you would call the sequel or the one that took place after the first one. Never did get finished, ended early. Then there was the most recent one that died quicker then the second one due to lack of interest from other parties and lack of time from the other people playing.
I wish you guys luck in starting a new RP though because there is a serious lack of RPers around here and those of us who were in SICD don't exactly have the time to RP anymore (me for one, I'm in a serious RP on another forum I visit, two D&D campaigns, and I have a crap load of other stuff to do). As Mimiru said look in the archives for the old ones. You might just get some good ideas.

I think I'm better equipped for a mecha RPG now, than I was at the time of Dx's SICD. Back then I lacked the general knowledge from having watched very little of mecha. But yeah, as Strider says, go through some of the older concepts and make your own from judging what can take off.

We may even be able to base the rp on a show or something...

Um... if you dont want stats just make a sign up sheet with basic info like name, age, gender, and apearance and maybe weapons try making something with a good story line if you want something like evil, good, and nuetral try something like lycan, hybrids, vampires or Angels,Demons,Fallen just giving advice...
