the inuyasha and sesshomaru action is amazing. and the animation quality of this movie is top notch. i think we'll watch it again sometime this week and i'll write my review. :D

The movie begins the night Inu Yasha was born. Inu Yasha's father has already been mortally wounded by Ryuukotsusei. He speaks to Sesshomaru briefly, and then heads off to the castle where Izayoi, Inu Yasha's mother is giving birth. Before he can get there, she is killed by the samurai who was in love with her, Takemaru. Inu Yasha's Da arrives weilding the Tetsusaiga. He fights his way to Inu Yasha, who is newborn, and his mom. He uses Tenseiga to revive her, then wraps her in the Robe of the Fire Rat to protect her and the baby from the burning building. Takemaru comes in and challenges Inu Yasha's father. Before the battle he names his son and tells his love to take the baby and flee. He stays and fights Takemaru with a 3rd sword. the castle collapses on both of them and they perish in the flames. This all happens withen the first 10 minutes of the movie :D

The story revolves around this 3rd sword which is both powerful and sinister. The sword finds Inu Yasha and attatches itself to him, assuming some control over him. Sesshomaru and Inu Yasha are fighting constantly throughout the movie. Rin and Jaken end up w/ Kagome and co after Sesshomaru and Inu Yasha abandon them all after a fight.
Rin does something absolutely amazing in this flick. At one point, Kagome is about to be killed by a demon and Rin throws one of Inu Yasha's prayer beads from his broken necklace at the monster. It disinigrates his head O_O When Kagome throws beads, it doesnt do jack shit. Interesting ne?
Jaken fights alongside of Miroku, Sango, Shippo, Kirara, and even Totosai shows up to help kick some ass!
Sesshomaru does a few amazing things too. While fighting with a sword possesed Inu Yasha, to defend himself Sesshomaru grabs Tetsusaiga and uses it to attack O_O It burns the palm of his hand, but he weilded it none the less. He also knocks Inu Yasha clear from an attack by the evil sword and takes the hit himself. And at the end he combines the power of Tensuiga with Tetsusaiga's attack to take out the evil sword and close the portal to hell.
This movie kicks so much ass. Action all the way through and awsome character development!

Father was injured and was going to his death. Sesshomaru knew this and he came to collect Tetsusaiga and Sou'unga (the 3rd sword we see in movie 3) Father stands w/ his back to Sesshomaru. He's obviously not worried about being attacked, probably cuz he's hella powerfull. Father talks to Sesshomaru about having something to protect. Sesshomaru , bitter as usual, isnt worried about protecting jack shit, he just wants the swords so he can have/use their power for himself. Father aint about to part with either sword (note-Sesshomaru never wanted Tenseiga) so Sesshomaru extends his arm and his fingertips start to glow as in he's gonna bust out his whip. I guess he figured he could whoop his da cuz he was all busted up, but before Sesshomaru can form his whip and attack, Father transforms into a full demon and takes off to get to Inu Yasha's mom. Annoyed, Sesshomaru walks away.

I love the way he carries himself off the battlefield and on it. He's aggressive and very good with his words too :happy:. Overall, his persona and screen presence in the cartoon series is better than all the other characters, in my opinion. I haven't watched his father though or any of the movies (I have the first film but decided not to watch it till my computer gets an upgrade and it stops to drag/skip :x)

Wel thats enough of that in the third movie sesshomaru is awesome he takes the tetsaiga and blasts inuyasha and so'unga(the sword) with the windscar and his hands burns and it shows his deep side when he thinks about protecting Jakken and Rin and its funny when he's back to back with inu, inu tries to show off and windscared the demons and sesshmaru runs and leaves him and the zombies come back and sorround inu and he calls sesshomaru who is long gone

Alot things in this movie shocked me, Sesshomaru actually falling to his knees (I'm still freaking out over that one!), Sesshomaru saying he has no one to protect (even though he was thinking about Rin and Jaken), Inuyasha and Sessy working together (wtf?!), and Miroku saying that he loved Sango....thats pretty much what he said anyway. I really did love this movie even though Sesshomaru whined about not having Tetsusaiga and kept reffering to himself in the 3rd person.

I too just recently watched the third one and I can't wait to add it to my collection! It was great, I still say Sesshomaru is full of crap and really does care about Rin and Jaken. Anyway, it was pretty cool to finally figure out why Sesshoumaru hates Inuyasha so much.

We all know he cares, and getting movie 4. The movie I didnt like, cuae seriously after movie 3 they'd need something uber epic like shattering the earth to top it off. My Opinion is Movie 3 > Movie and all who seen both will agree. Movie 4 feels like movie 2 nice animation, nice bad guy ideas but violence action and stuff lacking comparing them to movie 3.

I just saw it since I couldnt wait for it to show on Adult swim. I have to say thats got to be the best Inuyasha movie so far and from the reviews on the 4th movie it sounds like the 3rd is better then that too :D. I guess Ill go watch the 4th now to see.

It was cool to see InuYasha's Dad and a more visual story of the past. I kinda wish it was a bit longer but o well :happy:. There should have been a little more romance between InuYasha and Kagome I mean the movie was off the hook the least they could have done is have Kagome kiss Inu at the end when she puts the neckless on him. "I bet you thought I was gonna do somthing perverted. SIT lol."

O well it was a great movie though :)
