Snakes on a Plane

Anyhoo, went and saw that last night. Not a movie to see for good plot or character development, but I knew it wouldn't. Just a fun movie, though. I think it was made as an homage to the classic B horror movies. It's not one I could take seriously, but it was a darn fun action/horror flick. Sammy gets some great lines, there's lots of gruesome action (so gruesome and fake you have to laugh) and tons of action.

In other words, I enjoyed it. I always watch horror flicks with an eye to the funny (yes, i'm twisted), so I had a lot of fun. It is a horrible movie plot-wise, but that's part of the fun. It is rated R for several reasons, so not a kid-friendly movie, but one you'll have to see if you like laughing at horror movies.

I'll probably just wait till it comes out to watch it, I'm more excited to get the movie album than see the actual movie. X'D My mom says the movie looks stupid, but I didn't think it looked too bad from the comercials. *shrug*

it's like the classic B horror movies....gorey, mostly plot-less, but they don't really take themselves seriously....there's several 'jump' points, but you still laugh at it....

i heard that after they had it rated, the director aded more sences to get an R rating, u dont see that vary often, i wonna see just becouse of that

Omgod I just finished watching it and LOL it was totally awsome! Okay so there was really no story...plot...point...character development...but GAWD who doesn't want to see like A TON of people get bit by visious poisionous snakes!? I can see where this could become another great cult classic, and there were some very moving scenes, and a "soft porn sex scene" :P so yeah it had all the makings lol. Plus lots of pointless action, snakes, explosions, suspense, and more snakes. I give it a B all in all. :happy:

You know the really funny part? They have a novelization of the move. There is a Snakes on a Plane book. *BOLOL*
