Funny dell bug

I happen to find this http://www.rickardliljeberg.com/blog.php?itemID=153 and wasnt aware of it till after reading it.

Basicly you can suspend your computer if you put a cell phone next to the cd drive and recive a txt message. The only way to bring it back online is to shut your computer down or by holding the power button in for 4 seconds.

Im thinking this would be great if you didnt have to put the cell phone next to the drive. Just walk in a computer lab and send your self a message and boom you crash all the computers lol.

LOL that would be something :P. How close to you have to put it thought? Like touching almost or like a few centimetres away? lol, it must really suck for the person on the computer......

has to be close. I taped my cell to the back of a friends computer and had it send me a text in 10 mins. Its like a time bomb lol.

I've only seen it work on the semi old dells. I've tryed it on other computers and havent noticed anything.

It shouldnt do anything harmfull But then again who knows :P
