Okay...SO...For some reason today when I was using Rectangular Marquee Tool and everytime I cut something and then paste it, it leaves a blur boarder around the picture. Also when I go in about 500% the toold doesn't make regular rectangles. I tried figuring out a way to reset it, but no luck.

So, anyone know a way to fix this problem or know a way to reset Photoshop CS?

Examples are in the link...

Restarted your computer yet? That tends to solve a lot of annoying little software glitches.

Well for one set your Feathered option under the rectangular marquee tool to zero. If it's set to anything but zero it leaves a blur around the area cut out.

As for why it's not selecting in a rectangle is beyond me. I haven't met this problem yet with mine.

I must have not realised that I accidentally put it on 1, because I never use that thing. After restarting my comp 3 times it finall started selecting pixels that I wanted. Thanks. :D
