Link between DBZ and Naruto?

No doubt that Naruto is a much better anime that DBZ, but as I was thinking about it i found something to be odd.

Naruto and Goku both wear orange
Saske and Vegeta both wear blue

Naruto and Goku were both orphans
Saske and Vegeta lost their whole family at a young age (so did Goku i guess)

Saske started out stronger than naruto but eventually is suprassed as Vegeta was stronger than Goku at the begining of DBZ and was surpassed.

Saske allows himself to be consumed by evil to become more powerful, as did Vegeta.

Saske/Naruto and Goku/Vegeta start out bitterly hating each other but eventually become good friends and bitter rivals in a love-hate friendship

Hmm the similarities are stunning. I tried wearing the head band like Kakashi does but I usually put my hair over my left eye (my hair is pretty long) and I'd have to put the head band over my right eye making it quite impossible to see clearly.

Orphans are a common thing in stories where there is a lot of fighting, so is rivalry. There has to be a good guy and a bad guy to kick start the plot.
