Flame of Recca...

Any one know much about this one? I have been searching for another anime/manga to start collecting, so far I am trying to get Cromartie High School and Naratu stuff but I also found Flame of Recca on the Viz site and I thought it might be worth checking out... basically another ninja thingy, but I think it doesn't look too bad.

Haven't read the Manga, Eppy does it expand a lot more in the manga (story/character-wise) ?

I've seen the series and it's really great. It's a good example of old-school action anime based on a tournament. I love most of the bad guys hehe ...

I think I'll start tryin to find the DVD's...but would ebay be the best place? I have seen plenty of anime/manga stuff on there at really good prices, but i don't know how questionable they are...

The English dub is some of the most irritating dubs I've heard in a long time. No change in tone/voice actor emotion, nothing and everyone sounds alike. It's just wrong.

the dub is sucky probably cause its an older anime...

Yeah that could be it, the only reason I'm watchin it again right now is for Fuko's last battle with Magensha's brother and Mikagami's battle with his sister's killer ^_^

the manga also continues the story after the tournament....I remember not feeling satisfied when the anime series ended
