I just got back and Wow, The movie kicks ass!

It just totall rocked. Much better than the 2st two I can say. Its very very very dark. The fight scenes are insane, and there is alot of action, probably more action than in any starwars movie.

The only flaw about the movie is that certian important parts are condensed. In all honesty If he would have started with episode II as episode one, and made Ep III's story over 2 movies, it would have been absolutely perfect. Its definantly not a dissapointment though.

The only real question I have, is if they explain the reasons behind why he went from man to machine...Because I've not been able to come up with any of my own good theories. :\

I think I know how or why ... but it's my own theory, kinda very simple, but I can't say it in here *looks at the topic heading*

I must say I was extremely impressed with the movie (I passed out when I got home so thats why I didn't post anything). It was interesting to see the reasons behind Anakin's fall to the dark side and I think they pulled off showing it quite well.

It was definately better then the first two and the action sequences were great if not awesome.

I agree with everything here. I especially liked Anakin's light side/dark side struggles.

Best Star Wars movie ever!

But since it's a prequel you just know they older people who grew up on the orriginals are going to bitch.

But anyways... I loved it. I want/have to go see it again! And again! And again! Again!!!!!

The following might be considered a spoiler by some people but I personaly don't really see it as that.

However, I have noticed one thing that I find odd: In the start of the movie they had the predecessors to the Empire's war machines. But by the end of the movie they have the full blown episode 4 line up. Doesn't weapon devellopment take a long time?

I definately didn't want to see Plo Loon, who incidently I didn't even know existed till NOW, before I saw the movie. Use the spoiler tags, please guys ;)

my only qualms about this movie was the way Hayden Christenson delivered his lines. i hear that he actually is a really good actor but i just didn't see that in these star wars movies.

I saw it today. It was very good, by far the best prequel, but the dialogue was pretty terrible. Most of the lines seemed forced and unrealistic. Natalie Portman was especially bad. However, Star Wars has never had very good acting, even in the originals, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Yeah natalie prtman wasn't very good in the movie. But, she's super sexyful. And a little thing with Darth at the end Blech

WRONG!! the Millenium Falcon was docked on corusant(sp) when Obi-wan was dropping of ani with Palps after they crash landed Grevous's ship

CHEWY!!!!

Ani's Light Saber which Obi-wan scooped up after he dismembered him... yup you father really wanted you to have this when you got older son..

What about Organa's ship with its blindingly white wall glory?

Guys, please. I keep hearing people say the acting and everything was terrible... well, then you OBVIOUSLY have not seen the first three SW movies. If you did, you'd have figured out by now that that's just a part of the SW universe.

As far as the movie goes, I loved it! Darth Sidious was so frickin' awesome!

I don't really think these are spoilers, but I'll use the tags anyways:

I seriously got goosebumps when Sidious fought Yoda. That fight was probably the best fight in any of the SW movies.

Also, I thought it was stupid that Vader killed those kids. Why not convert them to your side? They already looked up to him... they were young, impressionable, and force sensitive. They would've made a decent Dark Jedi squad.

I also thought it was funny when Yoda almost got hit by a stray blaster bolt while the fighting was going on on Kashyyyk.

But I'd say that it was probably the best SW movie out of all of 'em. I also saw a lot of KotOR in the movie, too. Perhaps they'll make a KotOR SW movie? After all, lucasfilms announced that

Revan turns back to the light side on the game.

In the Original Trilogy the acting was indeed bad, but in a good, campy sort of way. In this, the acting and script were bad in a "Wow, that just sounds stupid" sort of way. For example: The "We're smarter than this" line, and any of the "romantic" conversations Anakin had with Padme. Once again, this isn't to say I didn't think the movie was good. As I said before, its the best prequel by far.

Now for the part I'll spoiler tag:

Vader wouldn't have had time to convert all those kids had he wanted to. I mean what was he going to say? "Come on kids, grab your weapons and we'll go slaughter us some innocent people, who've you all been trained since birth to defend," and then just have them all agree and go along with him right then and their? I don't think so. Plus, his orders were simply to kill the Jedi, and he wasn't one at the point to go against his orders.

I'm guessing the only SW knowledge you has comes from the movies and games. If you read the books you would know why there couldn't be any conversions.

In some of the back history one of the last notable Sith Lords, Darth Bane, announced that there would be no more then two Sith present at all times in the galaxy. This was limited to Master and Apprentice. Of course I doubt Anakin knew this but I'm sure Palps did thus him telling Anakin to whipe out the Jedi. Easy as that as to why the younglings were not converted. That and it was an initiation for Anakin into the Dark Side. Couldn't do anything more evil then slaughtering young children.

And on your KoToR thing, Revan can go both ways. It's how you play the game. A KoToR movie would be a good thing but you can't base it off the games. Wouldn't work seeing as how you're given the choice to go dark or light side. You'd need a brand new story and character to do a KoToR movie cause if you based it off the games it'd have to be an interactive movie givening the audience the choice which would wrack up some series need for cash. That or you would have to just say "Screw it, we'll make the character go this way." Would piss alot of fans off (for those who played the games that is).

I watched it three hours back and it's mindblogging. I didn't expect it to be SO good, especially after expecting a lot from the first two (which incidently rocked too in my book).

The graphics = detailed + awesome.

I must give it to Hayden who acted much better than AOTC, and the movie goes out to him and Obi.

I only recommend people watch the Attack Of The Clones II anime/cartoon movie too, before watching this.

Ohh but, I was disappointed and waited till no end, for the original Darth Vader tune to come into play, just as he emerged as machine, or later till then stopped showing him altogether.

Heh you're right ;) it's there as part of the orchestra when he's doing his evil actions, but I wanted the old school tune which gives me goosebumps even if I hum it .... *gets goosebumps*

I saw the commercial today, and I'm not sure anyone's mentioned it or noticed this -

Commercial - DarthVader has his hands clipped, and it's sideways giving it a "W" ( \ = left hand, / = right hand)
Movie - DarthVader has his hands clipped, with his hands alongside his body - like he's standing in *attention*.
