Ed & Al are definitely going to see each other again, i can just tell! btw, was it just my imagination or was Al back in the suit of armor? O_o; maybe he sends the armor with his soul thru the gate to keep his flesh on the other side as an anchor to return? *loves theorizing* :p

yeah. he was indeed wearing armor. that's why i was confused at first with old trailer thinking if it was gonna be continuation from the series or not. that's very plausible scenario. 0_o i was thinking something along that line, but also remind you that al lost his memory when he got his human body back. so getting back his memory probably has something to do with his armored body in other world.

I saw some pictures and did anyone else notice that Alphonse didn't have the symbol on his shoulder and the little apron thing? That is if you have seen the clips and pictures.

the suit of armor Al was in became the philosephers stone, not Al himself. Ed gave up his body so Al could have his back.... so where is the armor/philosephers stone? I dont think something like that just disappears, but loses its power over time O_O Ed's arm and leg were in the gate when wraith yoinked em and the complete homunculus waited in the gate for some time b4 coming out. O_O

oh and their Dad told Ed when he was on the other side of the gate that there was a child that looked like Al here too O_O

the movie looks hot as hell i cant wait to see it. I just got done watching the series and i was impressed. the story line is so tight and when it was over i wanted more. the movie definatly takes place after the series and as for the al armor its a line of robots or something there maken in the real world were eds at. from what i heard the movie is excellent and i cant wait.

i liked the movie, the fighting, animation and plot were all excellent, but the ending completely lost it for me. :\ link is uberpissed with the ending too..

I'm hoping they'll make another movie that picks up with that scientist that made the uranium bomb.. i figure if that bomb was made in the other world and the guy that made it knew alchemy as well.. maybe theres still a chance for them to get back.

I agree with you Sledge...the movie was good all around. I really loved the animation in the fight scenes. The story was also very good, but yeah the ending sucked. I really hate it when that happens too...it almost screws the whole movie over. In this case though it survived, I can't wait to buy it for real.

It wasn't outstanding, the series was better. With Ed and Al being together again and 'on a mission' at the end leaves it open for a sequel.

Yeah...but I don't know if I'll be up for that. Armatage is the only movie series that the sequels were really any good. Inuyasha isn't bad though...I think the third is the best anyway.

the animation quality of the movie is better than the series, but overall, the plot of the series is better. :nod:

I absolutely loved the movie~! It put to rest my uneasiness from the end of the series. I felt really bad for Winry but not so bad that I wanted the brothers apart. ;_; soooo beautifullllll. . .

The ending completely messed the whole movie up did anyone else think that Winry and Ed should have been together, but no Ed left its good that the bro's got to stay together though.
